International Hotel Group "Furama Hotel" installed our Hotel Self-Service Kiosk (Wooden Cabinet Type). ASTA installed 2 units of Self Check-In Kiosk into Furama Hotel Bukit Bintang Kuala Lumpur.
There are now two Cabinet Counter Kiosks, enabling guests to search their booking by entering booking number or scanning QR code issued by Furama Hotel’s website. 
For security concerns, the guests are required to scan their ID (MyKad/Passport) and to take a picture of their face with the kiosk so that comparison can be done for confirmation of guests. For a safer stay, guests need to check the T&C and sign to acknowledge them before payment. Besides, guests can change Room Type/Room, and choose to add breakfast ticket at the final confirmation on the kiosk. 
Payment can be done by debit/credit cards, or the various e-Wallets available. With that, they can collect their room’s key card along with the payment receipt (Wi-Fi password slip included) and proceed to their rooms. Guests with no appointment can also book their rooms as Walk-In Guests on our kiosks.
The whole Check-In/Walk-In process takes less than 5 minutes.
Guests no longer need to wait at reception counter and communicate with the receptionists as it was previously.
ASTA solution is expected to provide faster and smoother operation for guests and reduce the burden of hotel staffs from their daily reception process.
It enhances both guest's and staff's satisfaction at Furama Hotel Bukit Bintang.
